#VOLXZONE Magazine
Do you remember the glory days of websites and forums? This is where VOLXZONE magazine had its genesis. In 2008 we started publishing our first car features on the vwzone.pl portal. But that wasn’t enough for us, so the idea of the first e-magazine about modified cars in Poland was born. We published the first issue of the bimonthly mag in 2009 and none of us realized how much the scene needed it at the time! Time flies and seven years later we decided to publish our articles on the blog, and in 2017 we fulfilled our biggest dream and published the magazine in a collector’s printed edition. This is a publication for true connoisseurs, for whom the VW scene means more than just cars.

The best ideas usually come to mind at the least expected moment, when you are not looking for them. When I was driving home from the VAG Event in Żerków last year, organized for the first time with our key participation, emotions were literally boiling inside me. The last words of Przemo and Kaśka from Wolfsgruppe left no illusions: if the event returns in 2025, it will only be under the VOLXZONE banner. I do not hide the fact that the scale of the undertaking and the responsibility for the people, the place and its heritage initially overwhelmed me a bit. Driving home and analyzing past events, I realized that we had a lot of work to do. The positive thought was that despite the small team, we finally ‘did it’. The motivation was also not just any motivation. The event in Żerków is much less of a show, and much more of a family meeting. Out of nowhere, I remembered the title of a song that had been on my playlist a few days earlier: “We All We Got” (Snoop Dogg/The Dogg Pound). This slogan was a perfect summary of the thoughts that were on my mind at the time and it immediately lit up a light bulb in my head – after all, it was the perfect slogan for the first edition of VOLXZONE Event (at that time it was still a working name, the confirmation of which came much later). Łukasz and Marek, my partners-in-crime, liked the idea. So one thing is done. The reference to “We All We Got” had to appear in the magazine as well, which had an even more special role to play in the whole plan. Yes, the car is still the centerpiece of the cover, but in this chapter it is a background for what is most important: people who are followed by passion. That is exactly what happened, which is why the traditional content of projects-events in VOLXZONE #8 significantly increased the number of interviews with people from all over the world. There are more of them, they are longer, more inquisitive. When describing the history of projects and reporting on events, we also focused on the human factor, which makes the current issue of VOLXZONE truly unique. After all, everything we do revolves around people: our Families, Friends, Readers. Enthusiasts like us.
We dedicate this issue to you!
